6-week Self-Guided Course
Are you ready to break free from your Death Pile? Of course you are! And even though it seems so simple (just list the stuff, right?) a little guidance and coaching can help you not get overwhelmed and stay on course.
Merch that motivates
Often I will share sarcastic/motivational posts on Instagram, and resellers always say, "I need that in my office." So here we are! Stick these sassy magnets on a metal filing cabinet, your metal rolling rack, a metal desk, shelf, or fridge!
Biography

Growing up, my mother was the bread-winner, and my father worked part-time to stay home with me. I can recall countless evenings when my mother would return from a tireless day of work, take one look at me and say, "You let her go out dressed like that?!"
To this day, my father asserts that it is only because of him allowing me to dress myself independently at such a young age with no parental input that I have a highly developed sense of style and deep appreciation for fashion. My mother on the other hand would argue that my love of runway and ready-wear is genetic, as my Sicilian grandmother was a seamstress for Bergdorf Goodman.
Even though I have always adored fashion and appreciated the textile arts, my focus has always been and will always be academics. I remember getting a list of school supplies for the upcoming year, and I was so excited to get started. In case you’re wondering, yes, I was that girl from whom you would ask to borrow a pencil because I was always stocked. My teachers would praise me for my impressive organization and time management skills. I had no idea, but apparently, I was ahead of the pack.
Perhaps it was luck that I would attend one of the few high schools that offered Italian as a foreign language and would later participate in exchange programs with students from Italy. However, I know my acceptance to college was not by any stroke of luck, rather, a reward for years of hard work and planning.
Shortly before graduating from college, I was hired as a sales associate at White House / Black Market. As it turns out, I'm really good at styling and selling......like, really good. I was promoted to manager, moved to Connecticut, and decided to put off getting my teacher's license, because let’s face it, I needed a break.
I can clearly recall the moment my boss realized I should be in charge of floor-sets (where you completely rearrange the store to showcase new product). It was the end of my shift, and I was helping one last customer. I pulled a pair of shoes for her to try on with her new outfit, but the disorganization of the shoe section in the back put me over the edge. I stayed an extra hour that night (on my own time, you know, because companies hate overtime) organizing the shoes and labeling shelves. She looked at me like I had six heads.
14 months in retail was plenty, so I applied and was accepted to New York University where I earned my Masters of Education and Teaching ESL and Foreign Language (Italian).
After seven years, three districts, and a mountain of memories, it was time to close that chapter of my life and begin anew. Like I would always tell my students, sometimes picking up a new book is hard, but just think of the story that's waiting there for you.
I became self-employed as a full-time reseller at the end of May 2021. Never in my life did I imagine I would be self-employed. Quite frankly, I didn’t think I was cut out for it. Boy was I wrong.
Success found me quickly in my new career, and my social media status began to grow. The reseller community welcomed me with open arms and loved learning what I had to offer. But as with passing time, I changed, the community changed, and Instagram changed.
One night when chatting with my PFF (Posh Friend Forever), it dawned on me. “I can help people with their Death Piles,” I said.
“Yes! You should be the Death Pile Diva!” she responded.
And that was that. We both knew that this is what I had been searching for, and in some ways, this was searching for me, too. I know this is what I was meant to do; this is literally what I was built for.
